There are many reasons that you might be drawn to the idea of seeking counselling or psychotherapy. It might be a recent/current crisis, depression, anxiety, bereavement, relationship struggles, or workplace related issues. You may feel the time has come to take a closer look at problems, patterns of thinking and behaviours, that may be holding you back from reaching your full potential.
Many people find their struggles to be too broad or confusing to place in any particular box, so you don't need to be absolutely clear about your reasons to access counselling.
My aim, both initially and throughout, is to help you give voice to, as well as understand more fully, those areas of your life that feels difficult, painful, unfulfilled or just stuck. Such understanding can be useful, illuminating and cathartic in its own right, but beyond this, it can also help you make decisions about those things you may wish to change, as well as come to terms with those things that you can't change.
If you need support getting some clarity of thinking, finally get on top of a phobia, or navigating a difficult life transition, I can help you find more calm, strength and positivity to enable you to start living life to the full.
